"Yeg Bellbo"

First I heard the THUMP, then the unmistaken whimper that told me she had hurt herself. She never cries, just kind of whines a little, when she's hurt.

"Riley, are you ok?"

She limps into my room, holding her pant leg up above her knee.

"My yeg bellbo, my yeg bellbo." She was nodding at my question and still trying to hike up her pant leg to show me this undetermined injury.

"What? What hurts? Show me what hurts?" I can't see any major issue, but something is bothering her.

"My yeg bellbo, my yeg bellbo." I'm still confused.

"Show me, Riley. Show me what hurts."

"My yeg bellbo, my yeg bellbo." and then I noticed what she was pointing at.

"Yeg bellbo" = Leg Elbow = Knee.

Slowly, slowly...I'm becoming fluent in toddler-speak.
